our collectors lamp was created as a way to exhibit those hard to display collections or really meaningful objects that seem to end up on the mantlepiece, on the bookshelf or in a drawer somewhere and turn them into a beautiful installation. we have used ours in the past for davids clay pipe collection, glass fishing floats and shell collections to name but a few. our customers have bought them for anything from dried flowers, marbles and matchboxes to that special anniversary empty bottle of fizz and special pebbles. the possibilities for filling them are endless, it is just down to you and your imagination.
the lamps glass collection vessel measures 40 cm high by 15cm wide, so generous enough to fit even a match winning football boot. the lampshade is 41cm wide by 25.5cm high is hand made and covered in linen. the antique bronze finish lamp fitting is mounted on the European oak stopper which has been turned by hand on a lathe by craftsmen in the south west of England. the electric cord is individually twisted 3 core braided flex in antique gold.
